Our Mission

Our mission is to be a collective voice for the ratepayers and residents of the Georges River Council Local Government Area.

Our Association originally formed to represent residents in the suburbs of Kogarah Bay, Sans Souci, Beverley Park, Carlton, Allawah, South Hurstville and Kogarah, working to promote the best interests of our community and present local issues to council, in addition to other relevant bodies, in an effort to maintain and further the wellbeing of the area and the community members.

Since the amalgamation of Kogarah and Hurstville Councils, we represent residents from across the Georges River Local Government Area on a range of issues.

We believe progress is necessary to support our future generations, however, we remain focused on ensuring development in the area is aligned with existing or planned infrastructure, preventing rampant over-development and preserving our open spaces and family-friendly facilities.
