Kogarah Bay Progress Association was founded in 1921 and incorporated in the late 80s. We are a voluntary, not-for-profit, non-political, non-sectarian body of local citizens striving to "promote the welfare and advancement of the community in the suburbs of the Kogarah Bay Ward".

The Kogarah Bay Progress Association was formed in 1921 through the amalgamation of the Sans Souci Progress Association and the Kogarah Bay Progress Association. In the early days, progress associations were formed where members could walk from their homes. Our current Secretary is the grandson of one of the early Progress Association members.
